That’s a wrap on our 1st week Yetis!

We are so inspired by the hard work and commitment of all our scholars engaging in their 1st week of the 22-23 school year. Academy days were a HUGE success for all grade levels! As you enter a well deserved weekend we wanted to recap a few important categories based on questions and feedback we have received this week from our community. Lunch Applications
- The Covid federal grant for all lunches to be automatically free has expired!!
- Until October 1st lunches will be FREE to allow families the time to complete their application.
- After Labor day our Family Liaison Destiny DeHerrera will be contacting all families whose application is not not yet completed to offer support
- Grab-N-Go Breakfasts are always FREE

Lifetouch picture day is Thursday 8/25
- ALL scholars will be asked to take a photo to ensure we the most updated photo in Infinite Campus.
- Ordering photo packages through Lifetouch is optional
- Order envelopes will go home on Monday afternoon.
- If you use that envelope to order with cash or check please have your child hand it DIRECTLY to their photographer on Thursday.
- Teachers nor the front office will collect those envelopes
- To order online go to mylifetouch.com and enter our unique Picture ID EVTKRJN2K
- If you order online there is no need to bring back the paper envelope.
- Scholars are permitted to be in FREE DRESS!
- Please be mindful of the unacceptable articles/types of shirts/outerwear as scholars who are found to be in violation will have to have a family member bring a change of clothes in.
Fall Sports

- If your child is interested in trying out, please submit the below interest form to ensure we have enough students YETI-READY to play.
- Scholars must have a sports physical on file before they can try out. You can visit any of our Denver Health locations for a FREE physical (locations at JFK and Kunsmiller)

School wide policies
All scholars were presented and reviewed all of our school wide policies that will ultimately support educational success. Please take some time this weekend to discuss with your child to ensure everyone understands our expectations.
We are collecting design ideas from our scholar community for outerwear (hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts and long sleeve t-shirts). We hope to have design options from our vendors to share with scholars next week to finalize our selections. We will then send out ordering direction to families to pre-order for delivery hopefully end of September
