Winter Yeti Fest!
Posted November 29, 2022
Families of our Bear Valley Artists,
This time has come for our annual Winter Yeti Fest! This will be a combined band and choir concert on Tuesday December 13, 2022 at 5:00pm. It will be a night full of music, joy, holiday spirit, and student work displayed from across all Integrated Arts! A few notes as we prepare for the final concert of the semester:
- Attire: Let’s show our holiday spirit! Red, green, blue, gold, or silver! Artists can wear patterns, but no logos please. Also ripped jeans are highly discouraged. Holiday hats are welcome as long as they do not block the performers around them.
- Students are highly encouraged to stay after school, and food will be provided. For the first time in years, the choir and band will be performing a finale together! This means that we will be using time after school to practice as a full ensemble! If you need your scholar to go home and return at 4:30pm, please reach out to Ms. Santana or Mr. Kenney directly.
- Before and after the concert, there will be student work on display in the main office hall that represents Bear Valley Integrated Arts! Come a bit early to see what amazing things our scholars are doing throughout the school!
- We anticipate the concert to run between 60-75 minutes.
- After the performance we welcome all our scholars and their families to the Cafe for Cookies and Cocoa!
We cannot wait to welcome you into our building in just a few weeks – if you have any questions at all, please reach out to:
Ms. Santana – melissa_santana@dpsk12.net or
Mr. Kenney – jonathan_kenney@dpsk12.net.
Happy Holidays!
