John F Kennedy HS has graciously offered our entire 8th grade class a shadowing opportunity this Friday January 6th. This 2 hour walking field trip will give your child an extensive look at what High School at JFK would look like for them next year.
If you do not want your child to attend this field trip, please plan on picking them up at 11:40am. The early release would be an excused absence for attendance purposes.
Also available are 1:1 Commander Shadow Days when students are paired with a 9th Grade student, they attend four classes with that student and get an inside look at being a Commander. Students should bring an independent reading book, notebook, and pencil.
