Greetings Bear Valley Families, I want to follow up on the school-wide announcement made this morning regarding the concerning TikTok trend involving placing lead into the charging ports of Chromebooks.

We take the safety and well-being of our students very seriously. This trend poses significant risks not only to the devices but more importantly to the health and safety of our students and staff. We urge you to have a conversation with your child about the dangers of participating in such activities and to encourage them to report any incidents or discussions they may encounter related to this trend.

If your child is found to participate in this trend they will:

1. ​Receive 1/2 day PASS Class to reflect and repair on this dangerous choice.
2. Loose their Chromebook privileges for the remainder of the school year.
3. Loose any eligibility to the various fun activities we have scheduled like the Quarter 4 Celebration
