As you review this website post, please take this opportunity to remind your students of the dangers and consequences of using and/or carrying tobacco, drugs and alcohol.
It is imperative that we work together to encourage our children to make safe choices. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are never allowed on our school campus. Students who bring these items to school face appropriate discipline under the Denver Public Schools discipline policy. Students who are aware of other students bringing these items to school should immediately tell a teacher or staff member.
E-cigarettes are devices that heat a liquid into an aerosol that the user inhales. The liquid usually has nicotine and flavoring in it, and other additives. The nicotine in e-cigarettes and regular cigarettes is addictive.
