Personalized Learning at Bear Valley is rooted in centering our instruction and educational experiences on the needs of each individual scholar. Developing a deep understanding of our scholars’ assets and areas for growth is the foundation to our work. This student-centered approach means teachers will support scholars in taking ownership of their learning to develop a deep understanding of their own mastery and growth related to educational standards. This knowledge will drive decisions regarding how scholars will engage with content, create projects, and demonstrate their learning at the individual level.
