CMAS testing 4/17-4/21

As a reminder Bear Valley will be participating in the Colorado Measures of Academic Success assessments this coming week! Please read below to ensure you are #yetiready!

8th grade will test all 5 days of the week, Monday – Friday

6th & 7th grade will test Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

  • It is VERY IMPORTANT for students to be ON-TIME.
    • We know mornings can be hard but PLEASE have your student dropped off no later than 7:25am each day.
      • Late students will have to sit in a non-instructional room until the testing section has been completed and will be pulled from class to do make-ups next week.
  • ALL WEEK (Monday – Friday) we will EARLY dismiss at 1:00pm
    • Students will still receive FREE breakfast and lunch with this alternative schedule
    • If your child rides the DPS bus they will be picked up at 1:00 all week
    • Please ensure you have your child picked up by 1:15pm as we will have no supervision outside thereafter.
  • Please help prepare your student for success by:
    • Encourage them to have confidence and use all the time allotted per test
      • Students observed using all their time and resources will be entered in a drawing for a TON of very cool prizes (Elitch Season pass, bluetooth speakers, gift cards, McDonalds lunch for them and 5 of their friends and a grand prize of designing their own Nike AF1!
    • Getting a good night sleep each and every night. Disconnect from tech early!
