Discriminatory Language Policy
At Bear Valley Middle School, we are committed to maintaining a school environment where all students and staff are treated with dignity and respect. Discrimination based on race, color, national origin, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity is not tolerated.
The use of discriminatory or emotionally charged language—whether intentional or unintentional—can cause significant harm. This includes words or phrases that stereotype, demean, or insult individuals or groups based on their identity, culture, or background.
Bear Valley Middle School must be a place where all students feel safe, supported, and able to learn.
ROAR Expectations — A: Antiracist and Inclusive

- Challenge inequities and actively work to make our school more fair
