Last week, in unity with JFK HS Homecoming week, we allowed our scholars an alternative to dress code by participating in Spirit Week. Most of our scholars were very responsible and had fun with each of the day themes.
Unfortunately, some of our scholars were not responsible and required redirection and/or loaner shirts. Our goal is to continue to offer free dress opportunities throughout the year so we appreciate all families support holding their child(ren) accountable to be in proper dress code before they leave every morning for school. Also, if you child brought home a shirt that has ‘loaner’ listed on the back please have them return that to Destiny ASAP. When we run out of loaner shirts students will have to call their families to bring in a uniform shirt.

We are expecting delivery of our outerwear (hoodies, crewnecks and long sleeves) this week from our local printing vendor. We will send more communication as they arrive so that families can secure payment and pick up their pre-orders.
