End of Year Info!

Hard to believe that we are approaching the last week of the 22-23 school year! Please read through the below information to ensure you are #YETIREADY to finish the year strong. Please call the office @ 720-423-9600 or email bvoffice@dpsk12.org if you have any further questions or concerns.


As a reminder, ALL students must leave their CHROMEBOOKS at Bear Valley for summer repair. If your student doesn’t not keep their DPS issued device at school they will be charged a $100 replacement fee. A new CHROMEBOOK will be issued to them at the start of the new 23-24 school year.
++ 8th grade will be turning in their computers on Friday 5/19
++ 6th & 7th grade will be turning in their computers on Wednesday 5/24

If you want your student to keep technology over the summer to support learning you MUST fill fill out this DPS MyTech form to opt into keeping their Chromebook. The deadline to fill out this form is this FRIDAY 5/19! Please email Ms. Sarah if they need a charger for home.

Any damage that occurs over the summer will be the responsibility of the family and could result in a $100-$250 charge in My School Bucks.


  • 8th final day of school is Wednesday 5/24.
    • We will send very detailed Continuation information to all 8th grade families separately to prepare for the ceremony.
  • 6th & 7th graders final day of school is Friday 5/26.
    • Day will start with a full school potluck in the Cafe!
    • Mr. Jasch has planed a #YETITASTIC field day full of fun
    • Students can be out of dress code but still must adhere to the basic expectations
    • We will early release at 11:30am
      • Bus riders will be picked up at 11:30am
      • FREE sack lunches and extra pantry food bags will be available for students as they dismiss at 11:30am


We still have yearbooks available to order. They are $20 – we can accept cash, check (made out to BVIS) or credit card in the front office. See below for a preview!

If you already paid for a yearbook, we will be distributing those to students on Wednesday 5/24 during their Learning Community time.
