This Friday 4/9 ALL of Bear Valley Staff and Scholars will participate in a culture building day aimed uniting virtual and in person learners as “one yeti family”. To maintain safety, all of these activities will remain virtual but scholars current cohorts will be mixed around to allow them to meet different staff and students they wouldn’t have the opportunity otherwise.
Vision: To empower every member of the Bear Valley International School to honor and build connections with one another through celebrating individuality, our shared community and our common humanity.
We are so YETI-EXCITED to share that we have secured several goodies for all scholars to support this SUPER FUN day.
Items will include: a t-shirt designed by our very own 6th grade Marcus E!, a new set of fancy headphones, 2 sheets of origami paper for a folding activity and a bag of chips to enjoy during our team building lunches.
See below for the times we will be available in front the main entrance of at 3005 S. Golden Way for a safe hand-off of said supplies.
ANY adult is able to pick up the supplies for their scholar, please just ensure they are masked. Park on S. Golden Way and join us out front by the tent. If there is a line, please be patient and keep social distancing!
If you are unable to swing by during any of these times, please call the front office at 720-423-9600 so we can troubleshoot options to get this bag to your house by Friday!
T-Shirts will be distributed during the day on Wednesday to allow scholars to bring home to wash prior to wearing on Friday!
All other supplies will be delivered to their classrooms on Friday AM. They won’t be able to take their headphones home for the weekend as we need to keep them behind to support CMAS testing next week. Once they have completed testing on Thursday they can choose to keep them at school or take them home.
