Spring OYOR!

Posted April 22, 2023

One Yeti, One Roar Spring Week is here! A huge #YETIROAR goes to our Mental Health and Wellness Team for planning all the activities throughout the week of 4/24-4/28!

There are morning activities, some lunchtime round table discussions students can choose to participate in, and an ALL SCHOOL Dork Dancing Event on Friday!

This week during learning community, classes will work on lessons about Youth Violence Prevention, Positive Thinking, and Healthy Relationships.

On Tuesday, classes will watch and discuss the Sandy Hook Promise Gun Safety PSA “Teenage Dream”.

Tuesday through Friday students can sign up to participate in round table, student-led discussions about the topics listed above.

On Friday, we invited Ethan and Natalia from Dork Dancing to have an ALL SCHOOL dance experience before dismissal.  All students will have the choice of receiving a FREE One Yeti, One Roar BVIS shirt on Thursday to wear on Friday.

Families members are welcome to join us at either the potlucks or the dork dancing**
