Thursday August 19th is the 1st day for you child! We are so excited to welcome them into our Yeti Family. Please review the below important updates to prepare for a successful 1st day of middle school.
Per the DPS district mask mandate ALL staff and students are required to wear masks at all times while indoors. Masks are not required when outdoors. We will have masks at the check-in tables and readily available in the building throughout the year.
Unfortunately the street paving project in our neighborhood has migrated to our surrounding streets. Please ensure you are leaving each day early enough to allow enough time to find alternative safe routes. Scholars can be dropped off on S. Bates or W. Columbia Pl and travel on sidewalks to the front entrance.
We will have 3 tents in front of the main entrance that identifies letter ranges. Please have your scholar go to the line to match up with 1st letter of their LAST name. We will pass them a name tag that identifies the teacher that they will line up with outside our main entrance. We will have AMPLE adults outside to help all these new middle schoolers!
If your child has a DPS issued Chromebook we will be collecting these throughout the week as starting on Monday 8/23 ALL scholars will get a brand new CB as we are a DPS MyTech school. Please ask your child to collect their CB, regardless of which school issued, and their charging cord to drop off in the rolling carts outside during check in
Please have your scholar bring their school supplies on the 1st day!
