Please review ALL of the below sections to prepare for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Please call Mama Yeti at 720-423-9663 or email sarah_masten@dpsk12.net if you have any questions!
The DPS Board of Education in May 2021 passed a resolution to have all middle schools and high schools (district-managed and charters) start no earlier than 8:20 a.m. each school day to support healthy sleep habits in adolescents.
Thank you for supporting punctuality and helping us create the best learning environment for all students!
If you did not complete the required DPS Online Registration back in May, the portal will be back open on Monday 7/28 to complete. If you are unable to complete at home, we will be offering walk-in registration times the 1st week of August.
Online registration is completed by signing into Parent Portal. If you do not have a Parent Portal account, you can create one here. After you sign in to Parent Portal, click on “See All Apps,” then click on “Online Registration” (towards the bottom of the list of apps) to complete the process. Online registration can only be completed by the parent/guardian listed in the primary household of the student record.

If you are interested in learning more about eligibility for yellow bus schedules, please contact DPS Transportation directly at 720-423-9600 or email them at transportation@dpsk12.org. Please note that individual schools do not manage the routing nor are we informed yet about which routes will be active for the upcoming school year.
Please review the our unique BVMS calendar as it is slightly different than the traditional DPS version.
We kindly ask for you to schedule any appointments and or travel times during our established no-school days whenever possible. This helps your student stay on track with attendance and academic progress, ensuring they don’t miss valuable learning time or fall behind in reaching important goals like quarterly celebrations and Continuation eligibility.

As part of our commitment to fostering a positive and respectful school community, we kindly ask that you take some time to review our dress code together with your student.
Understanding what is and isn’t allowed at school helps ensure everyone feels comfortable and focused on learning. To keep things fun and engaging, we will also offer various free dress opportunities and spirit weeks throughout the year, giving students a chance to express themselves while still respecting our guidelines.
To support compliance, students found out of dress code will be offered a loaner shirt. However, they may also be required to call home for a change of clothes if necessary.
