Greetings Bear Valley Families~
As we approach our final weeks of the 21-22 school year we wanted to outline some important dates so that you can update your calendars.
If you are a rising 7th or 8th grade family we expect to publish our unique 22-23 school calendar in the upcoming week. However we understand that families are creating summer plans and need to be informed sooner than later for our 1st days of school.
Friday May 13th – eligible 8th grade scholars field trip to Denver Zoo, click here for more information.
Tuesday May 17th, eligible 7th grade scholars field trip to Denver Zoo, click here for more information.
Friday May 20th, last instructional day for 8th grade. Click here to access all the details for their field trips and celebrations the following week for our Continuing class of 2022!
Also on Friday May 20th will be our shared SW Denver IB Fest at Sabin from 5-7pm. We hope you are able to join us in these festivities, click here for all the details.
Friday May 27th, last day of school for 6th and 7th grade. It will be a fun celebratory field day. All scholars will be dismissed at 11:30am. Scholars will be able to grab a sack lunch on their way out to start their summer break.
For our rising 7th and 8th graders we wanted you to be aware that Bear Valley will have a different calendar than the traditional DPS calendar.
We will be greeting our scholars before the DPS starts on Monday the 22nd. This will allow us to have our final day of school on Friday 5/26/2023 and not return after the Memorial day weekend.
*Once the grade level starts they will continue that following day (i.e. 6th starts on Wed but will continue to come to school on Thursday and Friday).
