Dear Future Bear Valley Family,

Congratulations on your student’s interest into Bear Valley International School. We are a DPS traditional middle school, serving 6th to 8th grade. We understand that there are many choices when it comes to picking a school, and we are thrilled to welcome your family to Bear Valley. Bear Valley is a school designed by the community, for the community.  At our school you can expect:

• Your family will be welcomed and your child will be taught by a staff that loves teaching our scholars, and honors and maintains high expectations for everyone.
•  A rigorous, inquiry-based curriculum utilizing the IB framework.
•  A balanced whole child approach to meeting the social-emotional and academic needs of all scholars.

Students at Bear Valley are offered a wide continuum of interventions and opportunities for acceleration, by providing personalized learning.  Our school also offers students one-to-one technology to support exploration and real-life experiences.
