Thank you so YETI much to all the families that attended our Spring Family Conferences on Thursday 2/13. We know that success will only come if we can partner with you to discuss your child’s academic areas of strength and growth, as well as areas for improvement.

• Next week your student should bring home a packet that includes their February progress report as well as their Semester 1 Report Card. If you do not see that packet come home, please reach out to the main office at bvoffice@dpsk12.org so we can email you this information.

Immigration Resources for Families 

All students, regardless of immigration status, have a constitutionally protected right to access free public education. Public K-12 schools must teach all students free of charge, regardless of their immigration status or their parents’ status. 

The below family toolkit is a comprehensive guide designed to assist families in creating personalized action plans in case of deportation or prolonged absence. It provides practical tools and advice on organizing critical documents, managing legal and financial matters, and developing communication strategies. This resource empowers families to navigate challenging circumstances with greater confidence and readiness.
