Getting #yetiready for In-Person learning…

At-Home Screening

Safety is our #1 priority so we appreciate your time and diligence reviewing the contents below to ensure you are #yetiready to send your child back for in-person learning.

We will welcome 6th grade to the building on Wednesday 1/20.

Then our 7th and 8th graders will join us on Thursday 1/21

Our campus does not open until 8:15am and closes right at 1:30pm. There will be no adult supervision outside this time frame. Please ensure you child does not exit your cars until 8:15am. Scholars found on campus after 1:30pm will be asked to leave by our Campus Security.

Parents/guardians are responsible for making sure that their students are safe and healthy before arriving at school. Students and parents/guardians should screen their students for symptoms before they arrive in-person and temperatures should be taken at home if possible.

There are two ways that your family can perform your daily morning at-home screener to ensure your child is able to enter the school building:

1st is the DPS Safe Access website. Using their 6 digit student ID it will walk them through a health screener. Once through the questions it will provide them a green screen to confirm they can enter the school building. If it is red they must stay home until they are no longer symptomatic. Please click HERE for directions.

2nd is reviewing the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment At-Home health screener that provides a checklist to determine when to keep their child at home.

Videos

Here is the scholar orientation video that was eviewed during Language Arts Friday. We highly recommend all scholars watch this video again (and maybe again) to make sure they are prepared to maneuver through all the different procedures we have set in place to keep us all safe!

If you were unable to join us for our In-Person Virtual Town Hall this week we have included the meeting video so that you can review. We have also included the slide decks if you would prefer to read through these slides together.

Also shared today during orientation was the unveiling and presentation of our NEW DRESS CODE! You have to check this video out directed by our very own Ms. D and our Yeti den! We are so excited that our scholars are able to show their unique styles.
